Swamp Brothers

Wetland Whitetails: Swamp Brothers is finished! It measures 12x18". Estimated work time-frame, 28-30 hours. Charcoal Pencil on Black Paper. Too big to fit in the scanner so i took a picture of it. Either way it wont look as sharp as the original. -Just a summary on the drawing: Two Whitetail Bucks( one laying and one standing) in swamp sage grass. The sage grass is short because it is a fall scene. I wanted to achieve a fading/fog effect, hence the backround. My main focus was the deer, not the grass. Charcoal is very hard to detail with because of how soft it is, and how hard it is to create a fine edge on the pencil, plus it smudges easy. I used a Black charcoal pencil and a white charcoal pencil. Hope you enjoy!
